So I did a 10k in 1 hr 16 minutes, in Woodstock, which is a PR for me because I've never run a 10k before. It was a very nice race, and I ran with my friends the Kozeys. The weather was beautiful, so I believe that my curse of rainy runs is over.
I liked the distance. 5k seems a bit too short, but 10k is a pleasant distance to run.
This is a blog started about my training for a 5k in 4 months (September 21, 2008), and then further to detail my training for my first half-marathon (Oct 18, 2009). My brother Bill was beginning to train too, so we did this together for the 5k. I am adding other people onto this blog, for moral support, and to help me train.
